The iPhone Cometh

Few if any gadgets have ever commanded the attention that Apple's iPhone has. Evidence of a frenzy:

All over a phone.

Early reports, though, appear to show that at least some of the hysteria is justified.

Although it may not be the "Jesus Phone", as too many writers have ironically called it, the iPhone has impressed much of the digerati so far. Our own Stewart Wolpin says it's "AMAZING" and that he "can't stop playing with it!"

Watch for Stewart's full assessment later this week, but in the meantime, digest our wall-to-wall coverage of the hottest gadget of the year:

Non-iPhone news from the week:
The EQGuard Alarm System warns you 20 seconds before an earthquake hits.
Let the world know about the landmarks in your neighborhood.
The ultimate doctor may be a mini robot that swims through your veins.
Don't buy the hype — Facebook and MySpace have a better chance of taking over the Net then Linden Labs' virtual world.
