Can't get out of your wireless contract in time for the iPhone? Consider
transferring it to someone else
Some of the biggest hesitations people have about purchasing Apple's iPhone
when it is released this summer is Apple's exclusive deal with ATT/Cingular.
For some people this presents problems about coverage in specific areas, but
for many the problem is that switching to ATT/Cingular will require early
termination of an existing service agreement with a different carrier.

year commitments and pay fees in the neighborhood of $200 for breaking those
commitments.

Will mobile WiMAX clean 3G's clock?
WiMAX provider Clearwire cleared about $600 million in its initial public
offering Thursday, prompting me to wonder: Are the cellular carriers punting
away the billions of dollars they've invested in their 3G cellular data
networks?
